The Heart of Woodmar Stables
Woodmar Stables was established in 2024 with a simple goal - to build something meaningful for my toddler, one step at a time.
What began with goats and miniature donkeys has quickly grown into a passion for raising and developing Valais Blacknose Sheep. Drawn to the breed for its beauty, temperament, and uniqueness, we made the decision to begin a thoughtful breed-up prgram.
Today, our program includes an F1, two F2s, and a confirmed pregnant F3. While we are still early in our journey, we are focused on learning, improving, and building a strong foundation for the future.
At Woodmar Stables, we believe in doing things the right way - prioritizing the health of our animals, paying attention to the details, and growing at a pace that allows us to be hands-on every step of the way.

A Family Farm
Woodmar Stables is a small, family-run farm established in 2024. It began with a simple goal-to give our young son the opportunity to grow up around animals and experience farm life firsthand. What started as a personal passion has grown into a focused effort to thoughtfully develop our Valais program. We remain hands-on in every aspect, prioritizing care, quality, and a meaningful connection to the animals we raise.
